Job Description

As the Head of Franchising, you will be responsible for the success and ownership of ADVENT's Franchise department.

To be successful in this role you will routinely accomplish:

  • Develop and execute a franchise business plan.
  • Manage lead acquisition and track lead status in FranConnect.
  • Create and oversee the franchise sales process--including the handling of franchise leads, interviewing franchise candidates, evaluating franchise applications, and awarding franchise contracts.
  • Remain as point of contact after franchise has opened--including assistance with pre-opening training, site selection, ongoing support, etc.
  • Update ADVENT's Financial Disclosure Document, Franchise Agreement, Operations Manual and Training Manual as needed.
  • Work closely with our Training, Business Development and Brand teams. Oversee training/ support programs.
  • Participate in annual conventions, seminars or business meetings, and attend franchise grand openings, as directed.
  • Develop procedures for long-term franchise growth, such as reporting, and processes for renewing or terminating agreements.

To ensure the best fit, your prior work experience will include:

  • Prior Franchise Development Experience/Start up Experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills'relational and comfortable negotiator
  • Lead, manage and train team members
  • Manage responsibilities with a high attention to detail and ability to make big-picture recommendations
  • Operate in a strategic, organized manner, with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Open to travel
