Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service.  We are seeking a full-time Payment Application Specialist that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.
 
Responsibilities include: posting and balancing insurance remittances to the appropriate patient accounts for all centers, preparing daily deposits, post appropriate contractual adjustments, reversal of adjustments and transfers to other insurance or self-pay as needed during the process of posting insurance payments, archiving payment batches, post and balance recoupment from insurance companies, fill in for Patient Registrar when needed, maintain good customer service in discussing patient account information over the phone with patients and insurance companies.  



 Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. A minimum of two years working in a medical office including payment posting from remittance advices and Explanation of Benefits
  3. Knowledge of insurance carrier claims processing
  4. Knowledge of basic mathematics
  5. Working knowledge of computers and office applications software such as MS Office
  6. Ability to organize, list and tabulate data
  7. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
