Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a part-time (flexible 20 hours a week to start) Occupational Therapist / Day Treatment that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Responsibilities include: Provide mental health care to children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with a psychiatric diagnosis and/or substance use disorders, Serve as part of multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized and measurable treatment goals and modalities for each patient, Facilitate and complete OT assessment within 5 business days of patient admission into Day Treatment, Facilitate and complete all other relevant OT assessments/consults as requested by treating therapist, Provide treatment in the areas of Occupational Therapy Practice Framework: Domain and Process to include all occupations, client factors, performance skills, performance patterns, and contexts and environments. (Social Participation, Rest/Sleep, IADL’s, ADL’s, Leisure, Work, Play, Education) in a therapeutic setting, Facilitate appropriate facets of Family Program based on therapist’s skill areas, Perform specific assigned duties, which may include but will not be limited to: assessment planning, implementing, evaluation, communicating and documenting, group facilitation, and therapeutic intervention toward psychological and social needs of the patient and family, Initiate and complete all relevant documentation, which may include, group attendance records, group notes, progress notes, master treatment plan, communication log, etc. within RPSPC time frames, Actively participate in treatment program development, Demonstrate ability to adjust own workload to meet fluctuation in patient census, Able to identify significant changes in patient’s condition and take appropriate actions as evidenced in reporting, staffing consultations, and documentation, etc.

Successful applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Experience in working with Children within the OT guidelines, Must be a friendly, dynamic communicator with the ability to multi-task and make sound/quick decisions in a high stress environment, Familiarity with computers helpful, Bilingual (Spanish/English or Hmong/English) is helpful, but not required.
