Job Description

Job Summary:  Receive product shipped by vendors/distributors, Fill customer back orders, update order status, stock product shelves, and deliver merchandise to customers.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Position is responsible for receiving and In-checking merchandise shipped from vendors/distributors. Count and verify quantities against shipping documents and identify discrepancies and work with vendors to resolve discrepancy. Process receiving documents into Point of Sale System. Verify status of all open orders. Process and fill customer orders. Stock merchandise on retail shelves in store. Deliver customer purchased merchandise as required. Other duties may be assigned by the Store Manager.
 
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have good knowledge of receiving, and inventory management. Have a basic understanding of retail sales. Be able to learn or be familiar with military/government organizations and acronyms. Individual should also have excellent customer service skills. A valid driver license and ability to be forklift qualified is required. At least 2 year of warehousing experience preferred but not required.

  •  Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Use pallet jacks.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Operate a delivery truck or van.

  •  Light to moderate noise levels
  • Moderate to low light levels
  • Dust in warehouse
  • Minimal exposure to hazardous material.
