• Order all needed documentation / services on new mortgage applications (titles, flood zones, VOE, appraisals, etc.)
• Review all new documentation (incoming mail, title policies, appraisals) for accuracy and file implications
• Submit files to Underwriting in a timely manner
• Keep Mortgage Consultants up to date on the status of their applications-in-process
• Work closely with Mortgage Consultants and provide assistance in obtaining additional documentation from customers and/or other sources to clear any prior-to-close conditions on assigned files
• Coordinate with customers, realtors, attorneys and internal points of contact (Mortgage Consultants, Fulfillment Specialists, etc.) to schedule loan closings
• Maintain Reg. B compliance including completion and mailing of Notice of Incomplete letters
• Assist other members of the Mortgage Operations team as needed
• Handle any additional projects, tasks or ongoing responsibilities as assigned by Mortgage Operations Manager or VP-Manager of Mortgage Lending

• At least 2 years’ experience in secondary market residential mortgage loan processing
• High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Experience in a customer service role, ideally in a financial services environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and consistent follow-through
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; Spanish fluency is a plus!
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Desire to work in a community bank and represent WSB in a professional and ethical manner at all times
