Waukesha State Bank is seeking a qualified Mortgage Sales Manager to oversee a team of skilled Mortgage Consultants while delivering exceptional service to new and existing clients and leading the charge to ensure regulatory compliance and guideline conformance.

Job Duties:
Promote an effective sales environment through regular sales training and sales coaching
Build, train, manage and lead a team of 6+ Mortgage Consultants to achieve production goals
Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with bankers throughout the organization to promote product/service referrals in support of the Bank’s goals for new business development and profitability
Attract new loans through personal sales efforts, community activities and referrals
Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the sales staff (Reg. Z, Reg.X, Reg B, S.A.F.E. Act, FACTA ACT, Fair Housing Act, Privacy Act, Real Estate Law, Dodd/Frank, AM/ATR rules)
Consult with Manager of Mortgage Lending to help clarify and interpret underwriting guidelines
Assist in the creation of all necessary department reports and marketing materials
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
5+ years’ experience in mortgage origination required, including experience with both secondary market and portfolio loan products
2+ years’ of direct sales management/supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong business development and relationship management skills, including experience with successfully de-escalating and resolving customer issues
Experience with mentoring / coaching others, particularly with regard to developing sales skills
Strong accuracy, attention to detail and follow through with employees and customers
This position requires an Active NMLS Registry Record
