Responsibilities include:
Proactively, warmly, and respectfully greet and/or direct patients upon arrival
Proactively upholding clinic guidelines and standards related to patient confidentiality,
Provide information and assistance to people seeking services and keep patients aware of any appointment delays
Help maintain clinic flow by strategically directing patients into exam rooms in a timely manner
Verify/update patient demographics (without verbal prompt) and insurance information
Announce/communicate patient arrivals/walk-ins/late-early arrivals or other possible factors that may affect flow to team
Collect on-site payments from patient and maintain related billing ledgers/receipts on a daily basis
Assist clinical team with patient calls/form pick-ups/reminder letters/monitoring clinical tasks/appointment scheduling
Translate and interpret for non-English speaking patients obtain accurate vital signs and other basic rooming information as assigned
Successful applicants will have:
High school diploma or GED
Medical experience in a clinic or hospital setting helpful
Must be a friendly, dynamic communicator with the ability to multi-task and make sound/quick decisions in a high stress environment
Must have a clear voice along with a pleasant attitude
Familiarity with computers helpful
Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
