Job Description
GS Global Resources, a growing distributor, manufacturer and systems integrator located in Mukwonago, WI, is known nationally as a supplier of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems and electronic control systems.  We have an immediate opening for a Control Systems Project Engineer to join our engineering team. 
 
As a Control Systems Project Engineer, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement electronic control systems for OEM mobile equipment such as forestry machines, construction vehicles, mining equipment and other off-road machines.  Control systems developed by GS often integrate with hydraulic systems in the machine.  Typical control systems include devices such as control computers with custom software and HMI devices such as joysticks, displays, and control panels.  This position requires the ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to interact with others including sales, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.  Other responsibilities include creating a full documentation package, project coordination, system testing, and customer start-up support.   This is an excellent opportunity if you are self-motivated, organized, thrive in a fast-paced team environment and have a desire to do hands-on work with control systems, hardware and software.
 
Required
 
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience with electronic control systems and control logic
  • Familiarity with mobile and/or industrial equipment and real-time motion controls
  • Experience with 3D CAD and Electrical CAD
  • Experience with PLC or control software
 
Desired
 
  • Familiarity with fluid power systems
