Job Description

Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service.  We are seeking a full-time
HIV Outreach Specialist that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.  This highly visible position reports
directly to the HIV Department Manager.

Responsibilities include: Seek referrals from community service providers in the Hispanic community of persons at high risk for HIV or who are HIV infected, identify Hispanic persons at high risk for HIV or who are HIV infected in order to facilitate access to testing and counseling services, receive training for and maintain skills for oral fluid HIV testing, receive training for
culturally competent counseling and testing for persons in the Hispanic community, complete bilingual or monolingual (Spanish) counseling and testing within the clinic and community, and perform other duties as assigned.

Successful applicants will have high school diploma or equivalent, valid Wisconsin driver’s license, use of an automobile, and
current auto insurance, and must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Previous counseling or outreach experience in a medical setting helpful. Oral fluid testing skills preferred.
