Job Description

The successful candidate who joins our team will have
the aptitude and technical skills to utilize AutoCAD in the design of precast and cast stone components. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate to start off their career!!

 

Job Description:
 

  • Prepare clear, complete and accurate detailed precast erection shop drawings, mold, and piece drawings from architectural and structural documents.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, production, and mold shop to establish and ensure logistics and accuracy of specifications throughout the project cycle.
  • Communicate internally with project team and production.
  • Continually strive to improve technical and quality processes throughout project timeline.
  • Work with production and quality control to ensure a smooth manufacturing operation.


Education, Experience and Skills Required:

 

  • Associates degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, Construction Technology
  • Drafting and project detailing experience preferred (recent grads welcome)
  • Aptitude to understand and read blueprints.
  • Masonry construction experience or knowledge a plus.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude with ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
  • Ability to use related equipment, including software programs such as Auto-CAD, Tekla, Revit, Solidworks, Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond expectations in work quantity and quality.
