Job Description
Stonecast Products is a fast growing company and premier provider of superior precast concrete architectural wall panels and custom cast stone.  For over 20 years we have partnered with Architects, General Contractors, Mason Contractors, and Design-Build firms to create innovative designs, while providing industry-leading product quality and service.
 
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of Quality Control functions and routine tests on all concrete products, including daily compressive strength testing, pre/post pour inspections, and maintaining clear, precise and accurate records according to PCI requirements. Will also assist with stripping, setup, and pouring when necessary. Experience, Skills, and Educational Requirements Required for Success:
 
•           Associates degree or equivalent; or equivalent in years of related experience or training preferred
•           Strong ability in performing mathematical calculations
•           Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural and engineering documents
•           Prior experience in concrete testing is preferred, but will train the right person
•           PCI Level 1 Preferred
•           ACI Level 1 Preferred
•           Proficient with computer software, primarily MS Office
•           Experience in resolving problems and dealing with difficult situations
•           Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•           Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision
•           Strong leadership skills
•           Strong organizational skills
•           Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
•           Ability to work without direct supervision in a fast paced environment
•           Willingness to work as part of a team   
•           Ability to stand for long periods of time
•           Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis
•           Willingness to work outdoors in all weather elements
