Job Description

 

Asap Fastening Systems Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and industrial supplies, is expanding and is seeking an outside sales representative to fill an immediate need in the Milwaukee, WI area. A succesful canidate will be goal oriented, self motivated and able to meet deadlines. The ideal canidate will possess value added selling experiences and the ability to sell across various departments within the prospects business.

Qualifications / Requirements:
 
  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. At least 2 years of outside sales business to business sales experience.
  • Knowledge and competence in the major elements of sales including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.
  • Superior sales planning and business development skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and CRM Software.
  • Self motivated with superior problem solving and negotiation skills. The desire to prospect for new accounts.
  • Reside in territory and able to travel locally.
  • Effectively prioritize sales efforts and activities.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills are essential.
  • Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
  • Develop and execute a cold calling strategy to target prospects
  • Mine existing and prospective clients for referral business
Communication Skills:
 
  • Effective verbal communication skills, e.g. speaking clearly, listening attentively, building rapport.
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings, e.g. business letters and emails.
  • Ability to effectively persuade by asking intelligent business questions to determine customer needs.

  • Base pay plus unlimited commision opportunity
