Job Description
 
Position Summary:
The primary role of this position is representative conduit between SSi and the customer.  Ability to manage the delivery of high quality custom engineered mezzanine/platform systems on time and within budget is paramount in this role, from point of sale through installation.  This position will also be responsible for supporting the design, implementation and support of complete mezzanine systems for our Clients through meticulous process, planning, implementation, documentation, coordination and communication.
Essential Functions:
 
  • Assist in the development of Project Charters, Project Plans, and Project Schedules, assisting with, and facilitating the administration and maintenance of all project documentation.
 
 
  • Support the delivery of a project in accordance with the schedule.
 
 
  • Lead the financial management and analysis of projects including budgets, cash flow, expenses, and staffing.
 
 
  • Lead the development of a portion of Client deliverables and presentations.
 
 
  • Active conflict resolution facilitation with both internal employees and external clients, vendors, partners, etc.
 
 
  • Foster, and instill positive communication between internal teams, general contractors, city/county permitting and inspection officials, sub-contractors, and the Client.
 
 
  • Make tactical decisions ensuring achieving of project goals.
 
 
  • Work within, and eventually lead small teams (internal and/or Client/stakeholders) during engagements.
 
 
  • Support, instill, and drive high levels of accountable performance both internally and externally.
 
 
  • Assist in the development of internal business systems and processes.
 
 
  • Identify, qualify and manage the outsourcing of manufactured components.
Qualification Requirements:
 
  • Associates Degree in a related field.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, Project Management, Industrial construction management disciplines is desired.
 
 
  • Experience in Project Management - Strong business acumen.
 
 
  • Extended knowledge of Material Handling industry is desired, but optional.
 
 
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance to evaluate programs and policies.
 
 
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
 
 
  • Knowledge and ability in new product development.
 
 
  • Proficient skill using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
 
 
  • Skilled in project management & collaboration software; such as Microsoft Project, AutoCad and Tekla modeling software.
 
 
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem solving/analytical skills
  • Excellent Communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.
 
 
  • Solid project planning skills.
 
 
  • Ability to coach, lead, facilitate, and manage others.
 
 
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and support high levels of performance
 
 
  • Ability to employ negotiation and persuasion skills with discretion and consideration
 
 
  • Ability to prioritize, complete tasks with a high level of accuracy, and be attentive to detail in a deadline oriented environment
 
 
  • Ability to work greater than, and outside of a normal work week as dictated by projects and responsibilities
 
 
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
 
 
  • Demonstrated creative knowledge and ability to evaluate/create/implement Branding, and New Media programs.
 
 
  • Ability to be decisive, self-driven, and establish credibility while supporting company priorities.
