Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate invoicing to clients, maintaining reports and schedules, and all other tasks associated with billing requirements.
 
Essential Job Functions
 
  • Generate invoices to clients through effective use of our relocation software.
  • Respond in a timely and effective manner to client concerns and questions.
  • Research, resolve and escalate issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Work directly with Account Managers and A/R Manager on any billing questions or issues.
  • Maintain electronic documentation of all transactions in accordance with department standards.
  • Generate weekly and month-end reports.
Minimum Requirements
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year previous accounting work experience
 
Educational, Experience, and Licensing Preferred Requirements
 
  • 1-2 years previous  accounts receivable work experience
  • Previous experience in real estate or relocation industry
 
Other Qualifications
 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop business correspondence and to present accounting information to stakeholders in an appropriate and effective manner
  • Work under minimal direction, organized and have the ability to prioritize commitments and projects
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer relations skills that include the ability to work with discretion and integrity
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated conflict resolutions skills
 
Physical Requirements
This position is considered light duty with frequent phone and computer use.  Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 25 pounds.
