CMM Programmer

Job Description
Universal Electronics, Inc., an established ISO 9002 contract electronics manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a CMM Programmer in the Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating programs and operating a TESA Micro-Hite 3D Coordinate
Measuring Machine (CMM). The position will also perform and review Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and write and edit CMM programs for all parts. The programmer will also interact with quality teams, training them in the use of the system.
The ideal candidate should be able to work from drawings, charts or specifications, use measurement instruments to check and verify own work and work of others. They will also review rejects and determines responsibility for quality problems.
