Job Description
Northlake Engineering, Inc., a growing Engineering/Manufacturing Company specializing in the design and manufacture of custom magnetics, power supplies and value-added assemblies is seeking several assemblers to build electronic products. Our products are assembled at a bench and require operations that are repetitive nature. The operations include: assembly, soldering, wiring, potting, testing, etc. that are primarily labor intensive.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembly Operations
Soldering Operations
Testing/Inspection
Crimping
Lead/Shield Prep
Laminating
Potting
Cleaning/Sealing
Sizing/Cutting/Stamping
Taping
Lead Pulling
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English.
Judgment and perception skills
Ability to lift and move magnetic products and related materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
Coordination in handling parts and wires
Ability to learn to use measuring devices and electrical test instruments
Ability to Solder parts and read specifications or ability to learn these items
Education Requirements:
Must pass the Employee Orientation Training [90 days]
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
