Job Description
Large Heat Treater in Southeastern Wisconsin seeks a skilled heat treat operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload ovens, wire thermo-couples as needed.
- Read, understand and follow heat treat specifications.
- Program furnace runs, maintain specific requirements as designated by customer
- Ensure quenching is properly executed if required
- Ensure all post heat treat testing is performed as required by customer
- Successful completion of charts and certifications
- Physically perform the duties of this position including using hand and foot controls; lifting, pulling, and pushing. Employees should never lift more than they are physically able to handle safely.
- Ability to work alone and professionally in a team environment.
- Perform work in various physical positions including standing, bending, kneeling and reaching.
- Work at heights including climbing ladders and using man-lifts
- Wear PPE including safety boots, safety glasses and hearing protection. A respirator may also be required.
- Participate in process development and continuous improvement programs and teams as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years furnace programming experience
- Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.
