Job Description
Blast Cleaning Technology, Inc. (BCT) has a full-time Materials Handler position available. BCT is a leader in blast equipment manufacturing and was founded on repairing, rebuilding and upgrading shot blast equipment. General Description:
- To operate lifting equipment safely at all times. Move material as required on to and away from the production floor. To keep an organized and clean work area.
- Operate lifting equipment safely and responsibly.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight carriers.
- Operate sit down and stand up forklifts.
- Read reports and pull parts from inventory.
- Count accurately against bill of ladings.
- Read and follow instructions and sales orders.
- Customer service oriented.
- Effective communicate skills both verbally and written.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
- Safety first mind set.
- Pass fork lift certification test required.
- 3 + years experience - forklift operator or material handler
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma required
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Read computer generated reports
