Position Description
Mount Mary University is currently seeking an individual to contribute to the realization of our mission through the role of Data Research Analyst. The analyst is a member of a team responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of institutional data necessary to support the work of the University in a timely and effective manner. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the collection, compilation, and extraction of statistical data under the supervision of the Director of Institutional Research
Work closely with director to develop and maintain databases appropriate for ad hoc, cyclical, and longitudinal reporting and statistical analyses
Support Grant development and reporting
Prepare a variety of regular and ad hoc reports and publications, including state and federal reports, dashboards, and an annual fact book
Build queries to extract, store and analyze data from data systems (e.g., Jenzabar)
Respond to internal and external requests for institutional information
Provide high-quality products accurately and within the assigned deadlines
Assist with the development, administration, and dissemination of surveys
Knowledge and Skills
Strong project management, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
Demonstration of problem solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent written and oral communication skills
General computer programming experience and skills
Experience working with SQL and a database systems preferred
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Minimum of two years of experience in professional setting, or equivalent.
