Mount Mary University is currently seeking an individual to contribute to the realization of our mission through the role of Data Research Analyst.  The analyst is a member of a team responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of institutional data necessary to support the work of the University in a timely and effective manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
 
  • Oversee the collection, compilation, and extraction of statistical data under the supervision of the Director of Institutional Research
  • Work closely with director to develop and maintain databases appropriate for ad hoc, cyclical, and longitudinal reporting and statistical analyses
  • Support Grant development and reporting
  • Prepare a variety of regular and ad hoc reports and publications, including state and federal reports, dashboards, and an annual fact book
  • Build queries to extract, store and analyze data from data systems (e.g., Jenzabar)
  • Respond to internal and external requests for institutional information
  • Provide high-quality products accurately and within the assigned deadlines
  • Assist with the development, administration, and dissemination of surveys
Knowledge and Skills
 
  • Strong project management, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Demonstration of problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • General computer programming experience and skills
  • Experience working with SQL and a database systems preferred
Position Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in professional setting, or equivalent.
