Job Description
TRC is a mid-sized company that provides relocation services to companies throughout the United States and internationally.  We help these companies (our clients) successfully relocate their employees (transferees) due to promotions, acquisitions, project assignments, etc.  We are focused on providing the best relocation services in the industry and pride ourselves on our customer-focused culture.  As an Account Manager you are the primary contact for our clients - building a relationship with them; monitoring their satisfaction; advising them on new processes, products, or services that will benefit them; and ensuring their employees have a successful move experience with TRC.  A successful Account Manager performs the following functions in a professional, effective, and timely manner:
  • Develop and implement account-specific strategies designed to meet/exceed expected revenue and profit objectives
  • Conduct ongoing client reviews (quarterly, annually, etc.) that are accurate, professional, and provide meaningful information to the client
  • Analyze and respond to TRC team service issues and make recommendations for improvement for complex issues
  • Prepare client reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually), analyze data and present findings in a clear, written format that provides accurate and timely information to the client
  • Monitor TRC’s performance to Client Service Level Agreements and take necessary corrective action as needed
  • Monitor and assist in the execution of policy process, projects or initiatives on behalf of clients
  • Coordinate expense processing, billing, etc. with client’s accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billings
  • Manage process to collect past due receivables from client
  • Conduct professional development and training of account service delivery teams, act as an industry resource
  • Ensure that operational procedures and policies are followed and all exceptions are properly approved
  • Demonstrate full understanding of relocation related concepts and industry practices to gather information and analyze clients’ needs, mindful of culture, business/budget initiative and administrative tasks
  • Build relationship with clients that promote opportunities for cross selling additional products and services through strong sales and influencing skills
  • Utilize TRC technology platforms for operational and client support to a high degree of effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Participate in a team selling approach for new business development
