Adjunct Position: Web Design
Course: Introduction to Web Design (Fall 2015: Tuesday & Thursday evenings)
Course Description: Explores basics of web graphic design and technology. Introduction to current web based programs, HTML, CSS, and image processing for the web. Provide an understanding of interactive design while using professional level software tools. Qualifications:
MFA in Graphic Design preferred, Masters and/or extensive industry experience considered
Previous teaching experience preferred
Evidence of professional industry experience required
Ability to teach the design process from start to finish with college level students
Ability to challenge students in critical and creative thinking for form and content
Ability to advance students’ communication skills through course format
CSS and HTML knowledge, in addition to course soft/hardware needs
