McDonald's needs no introduction as one of the most recognizable companies in the world, but many people don't think about them much beyond the individual restaurants they eat in. Tim Muma talks with Cody Teets, a VP and General Manager of McDonald's USA based in Denver, who is representative of the career advancement aspect of McDonald's success. Cody began as part of the crew at McDonald's when she was a teenager, working her way up to an executive position. She also authored the book, "Golden Opportunity," which features more than 40 success stories of individuals who got their start at a McDonald's restaurant, including Jay Leno, Amazon.com founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, and a Major League Baseball player.
