The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is the leading source of free, expert, and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment issues and is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy. Working toward practical solutions that benefit both employer and employee, JAN helps people with disabilities enhance their employability, and shows employers how to capitalize on the value and talent that people with disabilities add to the workplace.

Linda Carter Batiste, J.D., is a Principal Consultant with the Job Accommodation Network (JAN). She has in-depth training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and employment law as well as accommodations related to mobility impairments, emergency evacuation, and substance abuse. Linda leads JAN’s disability legislation initiative by providing research, evaluation, and technical expertise on a national level. She also steers JAN’s usability program for electronic, research, and outreach materials.

Dr. Beth Loy is a Principal Consultant with the Job Accommodation Network (JAN). In this capacity, she leads JAN's external evaluation process and internal continuous improvement process, providing leadership to JAN's teams of service delivery and information systems. This includes JAN's outreach and education, training programs, and Website development. Beth provides research, writing, and statistics support regarding accommodation benefits and costs and the economic impact of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She enjoys discussing assistive technology options for people with disabilities.
