Company Overview
Toolcraft is ISO 9001:2008 certified in the custom manufacture of short-run precision machined parts, complex metal stamping dies and fixtures as well as CMM inspection and wire EDM services.

The Company was founded in 1960 by Charles A. Pfannerstill primarily as a metal stamping tool and die shop. Charles was succeeded by his two sons, Richard and Charles "Chris" Pfannerstill. In the late 1980's the focus of Toolcraft changed toward short-run precision machining. Stamping and stamping dies became secondary as the machining part of Toolcraft expanded to include several small and large CNC machining and turning centers. Recent additions to their capabilities include a CNC boring bar and upgrading their turning capacity to include two 40" dia. horizontal and one 78" dia. CNC vertical turning center. Toolcraft has one 30 foot high bay supported by a 25 ton OHC and two 24 foot high bays supported by one 5 ton OHC and numerous jib cranes.

In 2000, Kathy Pfannerstill joined the management team and succeed her father, Chris Pfannerstill, as president in 2007.

Toolcraft has been a member of the TDMAW since 1971. Since joining the TDMAW, both Chris Pfannerstill and Kathy Pfannerstill have been members of the BOD and continue to serve on numerous committees.
