Mission

TBEY Arts Center strengthens youth and young adults through exposure to the arts and opportunities for creative expression. Youth ages 6–19 receive professional arts instruction, participate in performances and exhibits, and are supported through tutoring, mentoring, and coaching to achieve academic success and pursue their interests in the arts.

Vision

Whether our students become artists, pursue arts-related careers, or engage as patrons and supporters of the arts, our vision is for the arts to contribute positively to their lives and personal development.

Model: Explore – Engage – Express

TBEY’s three-pronged model provides a pathway for creative growth:

• Explore: Students are introduced to visual arts, dance, music, and theatre through education and exposure
• Engage: Students participate in professional instruction, attend performances, visit colleges, and connect with working artists
• Express: Students develop and showcase their talents through practice, performance, and creative expression

TBEY provides a safe, culturally responsive environment where youth can build confidence, develop skills, and connect with peers who share a passion for the arts.
