Company Overview
Discovery World is Milwaukee’s premier, non-profit science and technology center for the whole family. The 130,000 sq. ft. center offers educational labs and programs, interactive exhibits, the Reiman Aquarium, and exciting community-based events such as Girls & STEM and Robotics Week. Discovery World features unique, hands-on exhibits and programs focus on two areas – technology and freshwater sciences. The museum offers award-winning Summer Camps, Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs, community partnership programs, and learning experiences aboard Discovery World’s tall ship (and Wisconsin’s Flagship) the Sailing Vessel (S/V) Denis Sullivan. Discovery World’s mission is to generate excitement for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and careers in the minds of children and young people, while playing a vital role in the workforce development pipeline. Discovery World is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
