Company Overview
United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is the premier nonprofit health and human services organization focused on results that matter...changing lives and improving our community. United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting change by addressing our community’s most serious problems. To achieve its goal, United Way focuses on three critical issue areas: Education, Financial Stability, and Health – the building blocks to a good life. We bring the community together to invest in programs that support and strengthen families, promote economic self-sufficiency, meet basic needs, help children and youth succeed, build healthier neighborhoods and communities, and break the cycle of poverty. This is only possible through the combined dedication and talent of donors, volunteers and staff.

United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County employs a full- and part-time staff totaling nearly 90 people in our Milwaukee and Waukesha locations, including professional and administrative positions in fund-raising, marketing, accounting, IT, and community impact. In addition, United Way hires seasonal fund-raising (Loaned Executives and Administrative Loaned Executives) and pledge processing/accounting positions to help meet the fluctuating demands of the Community Campaign.
