Specs Appeal is owned by and operated by Stan Kaminski and his wife Lorie. Stan has been an optician his entire life, beginning with his father at the age of just twelve. Stan has over 40 years of experience in the optical field and is American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certified.

In 1984, Stan and his wife Lorie opened their first store, Eye Care Optical in West Bend, WI.

In 2008, Stan and Lorie opened their dream store...an eyewear boutique that would carry only the most unique and stylish frames available. Lorie came up with the name “Specs Appeal”, and she and Stan personally select all the frame lines we carry. They frequently attend Vision Expo in New York and Las Vegas to stay up to date with the latest trends.

The Specs Appeal lab is equipped with the latest technology, which gives Stan the ability to customize your rimless lens shape and size to ensure a proper fit. We have access to many types of lenses and products including brand names like Varilux , Shamir, Hoya, Zeiss, Kodak and Crizal.
