With a strength-based, holistic approach to drug and alcohol addiction recovery, our program promotes personal responsibility and accountability while confronting the underlying causes of substance abuse in a supportive space. We treat the whole person, not just the addiction, through therapeutic expressive arts, meditation, fitness, and other such activities that promote a healthy, sober way of living.

We believe in holistic care that treats the whole person, not just an individual’s use of drugs or alcohol.

Care is tailored to each client, taking into account biological, social, and psychological factors. There are no quick fixes or easy cures for addiction. Long-term success comes from providing individuals with the tools and support they need to achieve and maintain recovery. Roots Counseling Services offers a continuum of care that allows for more or less intensive treatment depending on the person.

At Roots, clients come to realize their potential while cultivating a grateful, thoughtful attitude toward life and their peers. Our services are geared toward developing community-based supports, promoting advancements in education and employment, and family reunification.
