After years of work in a premier public accounting firm and leadership positions in private industry, including serving as fiduciary of a large ESOP company, Scott Miller founded ESI in 1993. His goal was to help closely-held businesses realize the benefits of ESOPs (Employee Stock Ownership Plans). In the ensuing years, this business advice has helped a client list of more than 600 companies, many of them ESOPs, across the United States. Internally, the ESI Team has grown to include a staff of professionals who bring their financial expertise to a wide range of transition planning issues, focusing on employee ownership.
