College District: The College of Lake County serves a district with the third largest population in the Illinois community college system — 713,000 residents living in more than 50 demographically distinct communities.
The district, located half way between Chicago and Milwaukee, is home to 28,000 businesses including nine national corporation offices and includes many entertainment and recreation attractions, including 75 inland lakes, extensive forest preserves, the Genesee Theatre and the Ravinia Summer Musical Festival.

Full time faculty: 221; 24 percent with doctorates.
Campuses: Our beautiful, uplifting campuses are in Grayslake (the largest), Waukegan (Lakeshore Campus) and Vernon Hills (Southlake Campus).
