Autism Intervention Milwaukee (AIM) has been providing high quality diagnostic and treatment services for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) since 2002.  We serve the greater Milwaukee area; working with children in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Ozaukee, and Washington counties.  At AIM, families and professional staff work as a team in addressing the sensitive needs of our patients.  Our clinicians routinely collaborate with birth to three program providers, pediatricians and school personnel in establishing effective treatment plans that yield visible results.

AIM Mission Statement


Autism Intervention Milwaukee, LLC seeks to provide high-quality therapeutic services to children with autistic spectrum disorders.  Methods of intervention will be consistent with research-supported treatment; with particular focus on principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Treatment will be presented in a clinically sound and sensitive manner, with attention to the highest demands of ethical practice. Parents are sought to be included as active members of the treatment team.

Clinic Overview


AIM provides intensive, in-home therapy for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Intervention is typically initiated when a child is between the ages of 2 and 4 years old. Treatment is research based, using essential principles of applied behavioral analysis.  Therapeutic interventions are modified to meet the needs of each individual child in recognition of unique sets of strengths and deficits.  Common goal areas include:

  • strengthening of imitation skills as foundational for learning
  • building receptive and expressive language
  • reducing nonfunctional repetitive behaviors and fostering play skills
  • enhancing safety and compliance at home and in the community
  • establishing heightened social engagement and peer relationships
  • achieving greater independence with self-care skills
  • teaching academic readiness skills and early school concepts
