The Wellness Network (TWN) is dedicated to delivering life-enhancing wellness information to motivate patients to take action, aid hospitals in meeting accreditation and improve overall quality of health care.  TWN owns and operates the largest and most comprehensive in-hospital health TV networks in the US, available in more than 2,000 hospitals and on 300,000 screens. The Channels offer original, award-winning and professionally endorsed educational content to health-conscious consumers when and where they need it most.  Patient education channels include:
 

• The Patient Channel provides credible and engaging patient education programs on a wide variety of health, safety, and wellness topics for patients and their families via in-hospital TV networks and via an online portal.
• The Newborn Channel empowers new parents with award-winning educational healthcare content on newborn and post-partum care for over twenty years.  Education can be viewed via in-hospital TV networks and an online portal.
• Your NICU Baby offers on-demand education via an online portal and dedicated tablets for parents of infants in the neonatal intensive care unit.
• HeartCare™ Channel, created via a collaborative partnership between The Wellness Network and the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association, delivers around-the-clock educational programming to support heart and stroke patient self-management for optimal health outcomes. HeartCare™ Channel is available via in-hospital TV networks, an online portal and dedicated tablets.
• MedSerenity delivers integrative mind-body healing and relaxation programming for patients while in the hospital.

In 2013, The Wellness Network acquired LOGICARE, a software system that delivers patient-specific discharge instructions and the ability to prescribe and track education through a hospital’s electronic medical records.

The Wellness Network is also a partner in the Joint Commission Resources Quality and Safety Network, a continuing medical education series for health care professionals produced by Joint Commission Resources and distributed by The Wellness Network.
