ABOUT SOUTH MILWAUKEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Past Performing Arts Series artists include: Robert Glasper, Vienna Boys Choir, Alpin Hong, Cirque Le Masque, Imago Theatre, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Avner Eisenberg, Sybarite5, ACME, Baby Wants Candy, Calmus, Milwaukee Ballet II, Florentine Opera, Danceworks, Still Waters Collective, Skai Academy of the Performing Arts and the Missoula Children’s Theatre. As a rental venue, SMPAC has hosted artists such as George Winston, Lindsey Buckingham, Arlo Guthrie, Jesse Cook, Ruthie Foster, Tommy Emmanuel, John Hiatt, Ian Hunter, Joe Lovano, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and more.
SMPAC features a 786-seat theatre, classroom-sized orchestra pit, expansive stage, exceptional lighting and sound systems, a 23-line set rigging system, projector and video screen, plus dressing rooms and adjacent areas for rental use.
