SSI’s continuous growth led to relocation in Pennsburg, PA in the late 80’s to accommodate space requirements for expanded operations and facilities for additional staffing. Early successes were achieved through a business focus in the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. SSI continued building its market area in the northeast corridor and later extended their reach in serving various domestic locations in response to customer needs. SSI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Fike Corporation in 2000 and has positioned itself as a leading distributor of fire protection products.
