Company Overview
In 1920, a small group of eight local businessmen established a Board of Directors and purchased approximately three parcels of land in Ozaukee County, totaling 156 acres which was to become Ozaukee Country Club. The land offered many amenities dear to the hearts of golf enthusiasts – lush, rolling grounds very suitable for fairways, natural water hazards, small creeks and plenty of trees. The Golf Course at Ozaukee Country Club is legendary for its undulating and fast greens making it enjoyable on a day-to-day basis. The landscape architects responsible for the Ozaukee Course were William Langford and Theodore Moreau. Langford and Moreau planned over 100 golf courses across the country, notably Lawsonia Links. From its opening day to the present, Ozaukee Country Club has been known as a family club, filled with members who want to share their leisure time with their children and friends. The membership has enjoyed a social calendar filled with events over the years that includes themed parties and dances, holiday events for children and specialty wine dinners, to name a few. The Golf calendar is packed with competitive and entertaining events for men, women, children and families.
