Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that are dedicated to providing high quality, community-based supports to people with developmental disabilities. Founded in St. Paul, MN in 1975, Dungarvin has grown to serve approximately 2,300 people with services in 14 states. Our services are organized among four regions:

Region 1 serves people in Alabama, Indiana, and Ohio.
 
Region 2 serves people in New Jersey, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

Region 3 serves people in California, Minnesota, Oregon and Washington.
 
Region 4  serves people in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

We are dedicated to working cooperatively with all involved people and agencies to best meet the overall needs and wishes of the individuals we support. We provide individually designed supports and services to each person, enabling him or her to participate in home, employment and community life to the fullest extent possible. Relationships are built, developed achieved together. Where barriers exist, Dungarvin provides services and supports to make a positive difference. By using our experience and resources, we will work with all people we serve to find creative options and to tailor supports to meet indivdiual preferences and needs.

Dungarvin's mission and values apply to every person we serve, including those with significatn behavioral, medical and physical challenges. We believe all persons faced with the challenges of a disability have the same rights and the same basic needs as do other citizens without disabilities. Dungarvin is committed to priciples of self-determination, self-actualization and to the preservation of dignity of each person we serve, regardless of the nature or degree of their disability.
