Design 2 Construct Development Corporation was established in 1991 with three office employees and two field employees, and was headquartered in the Village of Slinger, Wisconsin.

D2C was born from simple concepts—that the design process should be integrated into the construction process, and that a well designed project should in turn lead to a quality finished project. Hence, the company was aptly named—Design 2 Construct Development Corporation.

In addition to Jim Blise, President and Tate Boho, Vice-President, the two owners of D2C (who are both registered architects), the company currently employees three staff architects, one draftsman, three project managers, three project superintendents, two yard/project support employees, eight field employees (rough and finish carpenters) and three office support staff. In addition to the previously mentioned employees, D2C also strives to employ one college intern.

Now located in the Village of Jackson, Wisconsin, D2C continues to act as a design/build construction company, and offers architectural and construction services for projects that range from industrial, commercial and retail facilities to custom residential homes. In addition to managing properties developed and owned by affiliated companies, Design 2 Construct Development Corporation also offers professional property management services to clients with multi-tenant buildings.
