Throughout its more than 80-year history, Krause Funeral Homes has been an innovative leader, always striving to find new ways to improve how families celebrate the lives of their loved ones.

Current Krause Funeral Homes president, Mark Krause, has been extremely active in funeral industry governance, serving as president of PFDI (Preferred Funeral Directors International), ICCFA (International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association) and speaking around the world on best practices and ethics.

Krause Funeral Homes also helped initiate the founding of the Funeral Service and Cremation Alliance of Wisconsin, an organization whose purpose is to educate the public and propose consumer friendly legislation. Since its beginnings in the late nineties, the organization has helped write new cremation laws that now regulate a previously unregulated industry.

We established the Krause Funeral Home Crematory Chapel as a result of our concern that proper cremation procedures be followed. It ensures that a deceased family member never leaves our care, giving us all peace of mind.
