The Pettit National Ice Center is an official U.S. Speedskating Training Site, located in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin. One of only a handful in the world, the 3,000 seat center houses one of the fastest 400-meter indoor speed skating ovals in the world, two international size ice rinks used for hockey, figure skating, and short track speed skating and a 443-meter indoor run/walk track. Take advantage of this world-class facility by joining Olympic athletes, skating clubs, runners, walkers, recreational skaters and ice sports enthusiasts, in all the Pettit has to offer.

Mission Statement The Pettit National Ice Center is a U.S. Speedskating Training Site that supports the development of skating among people of all ages and abilities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Center, through education and training, helps develop amateur athletes for local regional, national and international competition in ice sorts. In addition, it actively promotes to the general public, young and old, the mental and physical rewards of recreational skating. In doing so, the Center actively introduces new people to these sports and helps them improve their skills while enhancing their enjoyment.
