Medical Psychology Associates was established in 1991 and is a multispecialty outpatient mental health clinic. Our psychologists have training and expertise in the areas of adult, adolescent, and child mental health. Our group provides specialized treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, grief, and general stress management. We are also experienced in helping people develop more effective coping skills to manage chronic medical conditions such as headaches, chronic pain, cancer, and other life changing medical problems. We also provide couples and marital therapy using interventions that allow for each partner to grow as an individual while also addressing the needs of the relationship.

Our group of clinicians possess many years of experience and specialized training. Drawing from expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, and psychoanalytic (Jungian) models of intervention, we are able to develop effective treatment plans that account for individualized treatment needs and result in positive outcomes. We have two offices that serve the northshore and south side areas of Milwaukee and the surrounding communities.

Realizing the relationship between mind and body, our providers have additional specialties in health psychology, chronic physical health problems such as pain, MS, cancer and headaches. We work with patients affected by various chronic or disabling health conditions to enhance coping, empowerment and well-being. We are also aware of how these disorders can contribute to prolonged stress symptoms, anxiety and depression.
