Company Overview
In 2012, First Federal Bank of Florida celebrated 50 years of offering a comprehensive portfolio of products and services for personal and business customers. First Federal has been serving customers since 1962 when it opened in Live Oak, Florida (Suwannee County) as First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Live Oak.

After steady growth built on a conservative lending foundation, First Federal expanded into Hamilton, Lafayette and Columbia Counties by the 1980's and began offering checking accounts. By the mid-2000's we expanded our reach within our existing market area, opened the John S. Flood Financial Center (Operations) and opened new branches in Nassau and Baker Counties. In the last few years First Federal welcomed customers and employees of The Bank of Bonifay (Holmes, Jackson and Washington Counties), Chipola Community Bank (Jackson County) and Bank of Jackson County into the family.

From the start, we’ve been equally committed to exceptional service and value. Today First Federal is a community based, mutual bank that serves over 60,000 customers from 16 retail branches and several lending centers in Florida. Because we are a mutual institution, we are owned by our customers and not stockholders, which allows us to be responsive to our customers' needs. First Federal prides itself on being committed to helping local communities flourish. We offer customers diversified financial services including personal and business banking, lending, mortgages and more. We are constantly adding and improving our products and services to make banking as easy and beneficial as possible.
