Overview
Aavid Allcast, LLC is a custom aluminum die casting and tooling company located in Allenton, Wisconsin. The Company offers a variety of highly-engineered, precision aluminum tooling and die services, including casting capabilities ranging from 400 to 1800 tons, CNC machining, drilling, tapping, grinding, turning, heat-treating, deburring, and finishing. Allcast services a number of blue-chip customers in the lighting, automotive and transportation, recreational vehicle, consumer goods and equipment, and industrial markets.
Company History
Allcast began producing high-quality cast aluminum parts as a division of Mercury Marine. In 1973, Hal Garrison purchased this division and incorporated Allcast LLC as a stand-alone business. In 2005, Hal’s son, Jay Garrison, purchased Allcast from his father. Jay successfully ran the business for five years, growing it significantly. In 2010, Jay sought to recapitalize Allcast in order to grow the business at an accelerated rate. It was at this time that Jay partnered with Sparta Capital Partners, a group of local Wisconsin investors.
Services Overview
Allcast’s main service offering, high-pressure aluminum die casting, is complemented by tight-tolerance machining and finishing capabilities, as well as engineering and process design systems. In addition, Allcast employs extensive quality assurance practices that ensure every part shipped meets the exacting specifications and quality standards of the Company and its customers.
