Company Overview
The Shorewood School District, and our highly qualified teachers and paraprofessionals, fosters a love of learning and the acquisition of knowledge and skills that serves as the foundation for a lifetime of learning.  The achievements of the School District of Shorewood’s 1,963 students are among the highest in the State of Wisconsin.  In 2008 the United States Department of Education recognized Shorewood High School as a “Blue Ribbon” school for consistent high achievement and closing the achievement gap between minority and majority students.  In  2013, U.S. News and World Report ranked SHS the top high school in Wisconsin. These recognitions are a reflection on the entire school district (two elementary schools, intermediate school, high school, charter school and pre-school) and the quality educational experience each child receives throughout grades PK-12.

The School District of Shorewood strives to provide academic and extra-curricular programming in areas that promote high achievement and performance to meet community expectations.  We seek to develop students who are critical thinkers, problem solvers, and empathic listeners who advocate for their opinion, exhibit strong positive character, and who are engaged in the world around them.
