OccuPro began as a division of OccuCare Systems and Solutions in 2002.  OccuCare Systems and Solutions was originally started by a Physical Therapist and a human resource/safety professional. During the early years the primary service line was providing companies throughout the United States with workers' compensation injury cost reduction services. Many national clients realized a 75% workers compensation cost savings within the first year of service.

In 2002 the division of OccuPro began performing Functional Capacity Evaluations in various medical clinics between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI. The quality of Version 1.0 of OccuPro's desktop based FCE software and reports were recognized immediately as high quality. Case managers and physicians in this market started requesting their clients participate in FCE's that were performed by OccuPro's high quality staff.

In 2003 OccuPro began training medical professionals throughout the United States how to implement programming which would turn them into medical practices that specialized in the treatment and comprehensive assessment of the injured worker.

OccuPro continued its double digit growth performing clinic based industrial rehab, on-site injury cost reduction services, implementing software throughout North America, and continuing education courses when in 2004 a number of upgrades were realized including the ability to provide the many clinics around the country with updates to software.  The initial stages of our web based Return-to-Work software system was born. In 2005, version 2.0 of OccuPro's Return-to-Work software system was launched with great reception from the industrial rehabilitation community.

In 2010 the number of users within OccuPro's Return-to-Work testing software started exceeding its capability and OccuPro launched its largest software upgrade initiative.  OccuPro's innovative return to work testing system was placed in the latest internet based software platform.  In late 2011 after 1.5 years of software upgrades and testing OccuPro launched version 3.0 of their Return-to-Work testing software with many enhancements.

Presently the OccuPro's Return-to-Work Testing software is being performed in 40 states and Canada. OccuPro has trained thousands of medical clinicians in its 12 years in business and continues to have double digit growth per year.  In 2013 there were 15,000 assessments performed in OccuPro's Return-to-Work Testing software.

OccuPro is owned by a Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist with a combined 40 years of experience in industrial rehab, on-site services, and owning businesses.
