The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, the Society has invested more than $600 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.

The Society's Home Office is based in White Plains, NY. Some Home Office staff are also based at three regional offices in Alexandria, Cincinnati and Phoenix. The Leukemia & Lymphom Society's Wisconsin Chapter was founded on April 13, 1963 to serve Wisconsinites touched by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The Wisconsin Chapter main office is located in Brookfield. To better serve the state of Wisconsin, the chapter has two additional sattelite offices: Western Wisconsin Regional office in Madison and The Northeast Wisconsin Regional office in Menasha.
