Company Overview
Economics Wisconsin believes that having an economic understanding helps individuals understand our history, governments and culture, but it also teaches them to be financially literate. Having an economic education helps Wisconsin students, teachers, and opinion leaders learn to make decisions about their personal and shared recourses, to understand work and careers and to develop the habit of critical thinking. An economic understanding reaches far beyond money and finances; it is the heart of every choice and decision we make daily.

Economics Wisconsin relies on schools to teach students basic economic and financial literacy principles. We work with teachers across Wisconsin through our Centers for Economic Education, our workshops and other financial and economic programs. EconomicsWisconsin has also introduced a series called Economics for Opinion Leaders. We reach out and educate Wisconsin journalists, elected officials, clergy, and non-profit agencies.

Economics Wisconsin is a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c) (3) charitable organization governed by a Board of Directors made up of business and professional leaders, and educators. EconomicsWisconsin is the brand name and logo for the Wisconsin Council on Economic Education.
