In 1990, James Hynes and Thomas Meredith concluded their careers with AT&T and founded Wire Technologies, Inc. The pair began to provide structured cabling to northeastern Wisconsin businesses. Wire Technologies quickly became known for quality work and reliable service. As networks became increasingly complex, Wire Technologies saw an opportunity to expand into information technology in 1998. The company remains family-owned and operated. James and Thomas’ sons, Tim Meredith, Steve Meredith, John Hynes and Dick Hynes acquired the company in 2002. By keeping the same values, quality work and reliable service, Wire Technologies has grown every year since its inception. As our company grows, the primary goal is to keep the responsiveness and flexibility of a small business and to uphold the customer service our clients have come to expect.

Today, Wire Technologies is one of the most capable communication cabling companies in the area. We are equipped to service enterprise levels organizations, but will give the same quality service to the small office. Our BICSI certified registered communications distribution designers (RCDDS) can design communications infrastructure, prepare bid responses, and provide project management. Our cabling technicians are well trained individuals with years of experience and we employ certified fiber optic cable technicians. We have the capability to provide in-house fusion splicing for all types of fiber optic cable.

We provide the same dedication to our clients throughout our entire organization. This is the main reason for our networking department’s success. Our engineers are highly skilled, and experienced. We have implemented networking solution for companies from five employees to over 1,000. Our networking certifications include Certified Cisco Network Associates (CCNA), Certified Cisco Design Associates (CCDA), Certified Cisco Sales Experts (CSE), and Microsoft Certified System Engineers (MCSE). Over the years, we have created strategic relationships with the leading technology providers including Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, Citrix and Hewlett-Packard to provide quality products that equal our quality service.

Wire Technologies is located at N2570 McCabe Rd. in Kaukauna, Wisconsin (halfway between Appleton and Green Bay on the west side of highway 41). Our business, however, serves the State of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are not limited to these areas, as larger multi-location companies require us to travel throughout the United States. We have the capability to bring our quality service wherever the job maybe.
