Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Sales Engineer for our Seattle, WA location.

Description:

As the Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Aftermarket Solutions for Hexagon Stationary CMM products (Bridge, High Accuracy, Sheetmetal, and Vision product lines). Although the Sales Engineer is responsible for selling Aftermarket Solutions, they will also be responsible for selling new products in an assigned territory and will serve as a champion for the "Hexagon Advantage", ensuring that customer needs are met with the appropriate Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence product or service.  

Job Responsibilities

•    Professionalism in providing problem-solving solutions with uncompromised ethics
•    Achieve revenue targets for the Aftermarket product line in an assigned territory
•    Achieve revenue targets for Stationary products in an assigned territory
•    Perform effective presentations/demonstrations of company products
•    Act as a consultant to the customer to develop valuable software and hardware solutions
•    Be the primary point-of-contact for customers, from sale through installation
•    Foster long-term relationships with key customers
•    Create long-term plans for development of sales in the territory
•    Monitor local market and customer trends, as well as industry developments
•    Participate in determination of market potential and regional sales strategies
•    Understand, explain, and help facilitate product and business plans for the assigned    territory
•    Monitor and advance the sales process using Salesforce.com and Winning Complex Sales (WCS)
•    Provide reliable, real-time, monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts
•    Support various distribution channels with the assigned geographic area

Qualifications

•    A growth mindset with a desire to work within a team dedicated to collaboration, commitment, accountability, and attention to results
•    Strong Metrology background, mechanical blueprint reading, and a working knowledge of GD&T
•    Ability to grasp complex mechanical systems and industrial manufacturing operations
•    Minimum 2 years of sales-related experience in an industrial environment
•    Salesforce.com, or similar database user experience
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software tools
•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision
•    Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
