Summary:  This position provides assistance to the Accounting Department in the areas of: club accounting, membership tracking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, pro shop merchandise receiving, month end journal entries and Jonas System Administration.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

?        Responsible for accounts payable; daily maintenance of vendor files, check generation, 1099' s and transmitting data to the bank.

?        Responsible for membership set up; billings, reporting, Chelsea Mt and e-mailing

?        Administers the Jonas System including updates on regular intervals

?        Performs month end accounting; journal entries and accruals

?        Updates the Pro Shop Inventory on a monthly basis

?        Performs the daily administration of Accounts Receivables

?        Assists the Managing Director with the budgeting process

?        Responsible for all club collections

?        Assists in formulating and documenting accounting procedures

Education/Experience:

A.A. degree, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
